C) Unknown cause of death.
Oh, darn. Wrong. Many people, including Shakespeare Birthplace Trust, think Shakespeare’s cause of death is unknown, but they would be wrong.
When Shakespeare Birthplace Trust states, ‘We do not know the cause of Shakespeare’s death’ they are stating, ‘We, we here at Shakespeare Birthplace Trust, don’t know the cause of Shakespeare’s death.’ Which is odd because others do.
The fact is, ‘We do know the cause of Shakespeare’s death’ thanks to the research of Shakespeare’s Death Research Project.
In helping the Project uncover Shakespeare’s cause of death a shout-out goes to Leonard Digges, his help was instrumental in solving a 400 year old puzzle; without Digges, it’s still a mystery. Too bad nobody listened to him…for 400 years. The Project did. You should too.
